1/2 stalk celery, chopped 2 bell peppers, chopped 3 pods okra, chopped 1/2 can tomato sauce 3 lb. shrimp or chicken, boiled 1 tbsp. sugar 1 lg. onion Salt to taste Dash of pepper Brown 3 tablespoons flour (real brown), add celery, bell peppers, onion, okra. Cook 15 minutes. Have 1/3 put of boiling water. Pour ingredients into water. Add sugar, hot sauce, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, shrimp, or chicken. Let boil about 1 1/2 hours. |
