STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 4 eggs, well beaten 12 oz. carton frozen strawberries, thawed Milk to finish filling freezer 1 1/3 c. boiling water 2 2/3 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2/3 qt. thick cream Dissolve Jello in boiling water and stir until well mixed. Add the well beaten eggs, sugar, strawberries, vanilla and cream; mix well. Pour into freezer and fill freezer 2/3 full with milk. Freeze. Makes 1 gallon ice cream. Is creamier than most homemade ice cream and leftovers freeze nicely. |
