BLUEBERRY COBBLER 
4 c. blueberries
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. minus 2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. shortening
1 egg

In a bowl, stir together blueberries, sugar, melted butter and lemon juice. Place in an 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Mix and sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Beat egg and milk together and stir into dry ingredients. Spoon mixture over berry layer and spread gently to cover.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until browned. Serve plain, with whipped cream or with ice cream. 8 servings.
