GREEN BEANS AND ALMONDS 
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 (16 oz.) green beans (French-style)
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1 small pkg. sliced almonds
1 bunch green onions

Pat beans and chopped onions in baking dish. Put sugar, vinegar and almonds in bacon drippings. Bring to a boil. Pour over beans.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
