SOUR DOUGH BREAD 
DOUGH STARTER
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water

Set aside.

Mix: 2 c. water 2 1/2 tbsp. plain flour

Mix with yeast mixture.

Set out in jar with holes punched in lid for 5 days then refrigerate for 3 to 5 days.

FEED:

3/4 c. sugar (may want to use 1/2 c. sugar)
3 tbsp. instant potatoes
1 c. warm water

Set out of refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours or overnight (this does not rise, only bubbles). Remove 1 cup for bread and refrigerate the remainder. Feed again in 3 to 5 days.

MIX BREAD:

6 c. bread flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1 c. Starter
1 1/2 c. warm water (start out with 1 c. to desired consistency, no more than 1 1/2 cups.)
