2 2/3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. water
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. buttermilk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 17 x 11 x 1 inch pan. Bring flour and sugar together. Bring butter, oil, and water to a boil; pour over flour mixture. Beat thoroughly. Beat in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, soda, and buttermilk. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes. Cool slightly; spread frosting over warm (not hot) cake.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar (3 1/2 to 4 c.)

Cream butter, vanilla, and cream cheese. Blend in powdered sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
