EGG DUMPLINGS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Beat the egg very well. Add salt and milk. Stir in sifted flour and baking powder. Drop spoonfuls into a kettle of gently boiling water. Boil until they rise to the top. Then 5 minutes longer. Drain, serve with stew or gravy.
