TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda

Sift flour and sugar together in a small pan. Combine cocoa and water; bring to a rapid boil and pour over flour and sugar. Mix well with spoon. Add buttermilk, cinnamon, vanilla, eggs and soda. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 16 x 11 jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 lb. butter
6 tbsp. black coffee
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nut meats

Combine in saucepan the cocoa, butter and coffee. Bring to a boil; add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.
