CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbles
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup cheese
1/2 cup sweet milk
3 tbsp. bacon grease
3 slices bread, toasted and crumbled
1 stick butter, melted

Cook cabbage 8 minutes in salt water; drain. Cook onion and pepper in bacon grease. Toss bread in melted butter. Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs, in casserole dish. Top with bread crumb mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
