KIMINOV KUFTA (ARMENIAN SAUTEED
CUMIN - FLAVORED MEATBALLS)
 
1 lb. ground lamb
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. cumin
2 tbsp. butter

Combine lamb, bread crumbs, milk, salt and cumin in a bowl. Mix thoroughly by hand. Knead the mixture like dough for 2 or 3 minutes. Form the meat into small balls about 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Saute the meatballs in the butter until they are well browned on all sides. Serve hot. Makes about 35 meatballs
