1 clove garlic, crushed 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 lbs. ground beef 4 c. water 2 1/2 cans tomato paste 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. Tabasco 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1 lb. lasagna noodles 1 lb. Mozzarella 1 sm. container Ricotta Romano cheese Parmesan cheese Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain. Boil water and mix in tomato paste. Stir. Add all the spices. Pour over meat and simmer 1/2 hour. In a 13 x 9 inch pan or lasagna pan, layer sauce, noodles, Mozzarella cheese. Sauce, noodles, Ricotta; sauce, noodles, Mozzarella. End with sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Romano and Parmesan. Cook 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Then cover with foil and bake an additional 30 minutes. NOTE: May be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated. Cook an additional 30 minutes. |
