LASAGNE ALA "RUSSO" | |
2 lbs. ground beef & 1 lb. sausage, cooked & drain 1 lg. onion 5 cloves garlic Oregano, marjoram, rosemary, salt & pepper to taste 2 lg. cans tomatoes 1 can tomato paste Gr. pepper, chopped 2 c. red wine Parmesan & Mozzarella cheese 4 c. ricotta or cottage cheese Olive oil Lasagne noodles Heat 1/3 cup oil. Add garlic, spices, onion and saute; add tomatoes, paste, pepper and wine. Cook 2 hours on low. In large baking dish layer sauce, lasagne noodles, meat, Parmesan and ricotta cheese. Top with Mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and cool 1 hour. |
