EASY BAKED SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. butter
16 oz. pasta sauce or spaghetti sauce
12 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese or Italian mixture
12 to 16 oz. raw spaghetti

Brown ground beef and drain. Add sugar, salt, garlic and pasta sauce. Mix and set aside.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and mix with butter.

Blend sour cream and cream cheese. Put cooked spaghetti noodles in bottom of casserole dish. Layer cheese mixture and meat mixture, then top with shredded cheese.

Bake at 350°F for no more than 30 minutes.

Just a comment: I would hold off on adding sugar or salt to this when using a commercial sauce; they are already loaded with too much sugar and salt. I suggest checking at the end and season to taste. I personally would add lots more garlic!

Everyone liked it. I found it too rich with the cream cheese but it was delicious and easy to make. I cooked the ingredients overnight and placed in dish and put in fridge. The next day after work I had my daughter put it in the oven and bake it. Yum! Also, it microwaves well as a leftover.

FYI: Instead of using spaghetti sauce, which I find too sweet, I use pizza sauce.
