CROCK POT BEEF STEW | |
2 lb. beef, cut into 1-2 inch cubes 2 onions, cut in chunks 4 carrots, cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces 4 celery stalks, cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces 5 lg. potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces or 10-12 new potatoes with peel around center Marinate meat in package. Marinade 15 minutes as directed on package. Brown beef on all sides. You may first dredge in flour for thicker gravy or use 1 can mushroom soup as thickener. Put all vegetables and meat in slow cooker on low for 8-9 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. |
