CHOCOLATE CANDY BAR CAKE 
6 (1.45 oz.) chocolate candy bars, plain (Hershey)
1 c. chocolate syrup
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar (white)
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans

Melt candy with syrup; cool; set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, blending well. Sift together flour, salt and soda; add alternately with buttermilk. Add chocolate mixture and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool. Remove from pan. Serve with ice cream and Hot Fudge Sauce (following).
