DOUBLE LAYER GERMAN CHOCOLATE
CANDY BAR SQUARES

1 box yellow cake mix
1 box Devil's food cake mix
1 cup brown sugar, divided
4 eggs, divided
1 cup (2 sticks) melted butter, divided
2 (six packs ea.) mini MILKY WAY® (or other candy) bars, divided
1 tub prepared coconut pecan frosting

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8x13-inch pan.

Mix the yellow cake mix with 1 stick of melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 eggs. Mix well. Add 6 cut up mini chocolate candy bars. Spread this mixture into the pan and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Next mix the chocolate cake mix with the remaining butter, eggs and brown sugar and add the remaining 6 mini candy bars, mixing well.

When first layer is done take out and spread with the container of the icing, spreading evenly. Take chocolate layer and spread on top of the icing, then run a knife through the two layers for a swirled effect.

Put back in the oven and bake at 350°F for 25-30 more minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack, and then place in the refrigerator to cool for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
