EASY PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix (your favorite)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. French vanilla pudding (instant)
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
1 (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Mix cake as directed, bake and cool. Mix pudding as directed.

Crumble half cake in punch bowl (or large bowl). Pour half prepared pudding over cake. Pour half pineapple over that layer. Cut cherries into pieces and add to layer - not many just enough for one in a bite. Pour some of cherry juice around outside of cake for color and over it too, that won't hurt.

Layer half chopped nuts. Add remaining cake, pudding, pineapple and more cherries. Spread top with Cool Whip. Decorate with pecans and whole cherries.
