1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. box strawberry Jello
2 pts. fresh strawberries (slice all except 5)
10 oz. Cool Whip
Red food coloring
Cornstarch

Bake the cake mix according to package directions, making 2 layers. Make the strawberry Jello according to package directions. Add a small amount of red food coloring and of cornstarch to thicken. Chill. After Jello is chilled, add the fresh strawberries. Put half of the mixture on the first cake layer and the other half on the second layer.

Spread Cool Whip around the sides of the cake and around the border of the top layer to prevent the Jello from sliding down the sides. Spread Cool Whip on top and garnish with the whole strawberries.
