CHICKEN SUPREME CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. (6 oz.) UNCLE BEN'S® Long grain and wild rice with herb seasonings 3 c. cooked cut up chicken 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms sauteed in 2 tbsp. butter 6 tbsp. chopped pimento 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped parsley (or dried parsley flakes) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1 1/4 c. chicken broth Sliced almonds (optional) Cook rice according to directions on package. Add chicken, mushrooms, pimento, green pepper, parsley, soups and broth. Mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Put in casserole and cover with sliced almonds. Bake at least one hour about 350 degrees. Serves 8-10. |
