CORNMEAL FINGERS 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. butter
4 c. water

Bring the water to boiling then add the cornmeal and salt, stirring constantly. Cook 20 minutes then turn into a buttered 8 inch square pan and chill until firm. Cut into strips 1x2 inch, split each strip in half then spread with butter and sprinkle with cheese.
