CREAMED CHICKEN AND CORNMEAL
MUSH
 
3-4 lb. chicken
Green onion tops
Half & half
Cornstarch
Parsley
Salt & pepper

Saute onion tops in 1/4 cup of butter. Add cleaned chicken pieces and brown, enough water to cover chicken. When almost done add 1 1/2 cups of half & half. Make a paste with 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 1/2 cup water. Thicken chicken until gravy consistency.

MAKE CORNMEAL MUSH:

3 c. water
1 3/4 c. cornmeal (yellow)
1 tbsp. salt
