SPANISH RICE | |
1/2 sm. onion, finely chopped 1 c. rice, uncooked 2 c. low-sodium tomato juice 1/2 tsp. dried sweet basil 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 green pepper, chopped 2 tbsp. low-sodium corn oil butter 1/4 tsp. pepper Saute onion, green pepper and rice in butter until lightly browned. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat until rice is tender. Yield: 8 servings. |
