SHRIMP LAFOURCHE ALA RICE COOKER 
1 c. rice, uncooked
1 c. onions
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. bell peppers
10 oz. can beef broth
1 stick butter
2 lbs. shrimp or 1 lb. crawfish
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can mushrooms

Melt butter in pan, saute onions, celery, bell pepper, mushrooms until soft. Pour into rice cooker. Add beef broth, rice, shrimp or crawfish, salt and pepper. Turn on rice cooker. When cooker's bell rings, it is done.

Very tasty dish, I added some jalapeņo as I like some heat. I am still surprised at how easy you can cook a complete meal in electric rice cookers.
