CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 can Fri-chik, diced
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
3 tsp. McKay's chicken seasoning
3 c. water
3 c. cooked rice

Melt butter and blend in flour, salt and turmeric. Add milk, water and chicken seasoning. Cook until thick. Add 1/2 of cheese, Fri-chik and drained mushrooms. Spread rice in greased 9x13 pan. Cover with sauce. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
