SWEET CRUNCHY YAMS 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, chilled
1/2 c. pecans
1 23-oz. can yams, drained and quartered (2 c. cooked winter squash can be substituted for canned yams)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place brown sugar, butter, and pecans into bowl of food processor. Using steel blade, pulse until butter is cut into sugar and mixture is crumbly, about 15 seconds. Transfer to small bowl.
