POLISH BIGOS AND KLUSKI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork sausage 1 lg. onion 1 lg. green pepper 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup 3/4 c. water 2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 lb. pkg. Kluski egg noodles 1 can mushrooms (any size) In a large kettle cook beef and pork until well done. Drain excess fat. Add onion and green peppers. Stir and cook until tender. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato soup, mushrooms and seasonings. Cover and simmer on low heat 20 minutes. Prepare Kluski according to package directions. Drain. Add noodles to kettle and stir until heated through. Serves 6 to 8 people. |
