SOFT GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. King syrup (can use 1/2 black molasses)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, molasses and flour and remaining ingredients. Roll into 1 inch balls and dip into granulated sugar and place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Take out while still puffy.
