RAISIN PIE 
1 box raisins
4 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla

CRUST FOR 1 PIE (2 crusts) :
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
4 tbsp. water

To make the crusts, mix flour and salt and cut in shortening with a blender. Add water and continue blending until ready to roll.

For the filling, mix well the raisins, flour, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Add water and cook until thickened. Add butter and vanilla and mix well while hot. This makes filling for 2 large pies.
