DICKS RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, yolks
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. melted butter
Pinch of salt
1 baked pie crust
2 egg whites, beaten
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Boil raisins and 1 cup water, drain raisins and add enough cold water to make 1 cup liquid. Add vinegar, butter, salt and beaten egg yolks.

Mix sugar and flour together add to raisin mixture. Cook until thick, cool before putting into baked crust. Top with meringue. Beat 2 egg whites. Add brown sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla until stiff. Bake in 400 degree oven until meringue is golden.
