SCOTCHEROOS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. light syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies
Sometimes I add 1/2 c. peanuts

Combine sugar and syrup in 3 quart pan. Cook over moderate heat until clear and bubbly. Add peanut butter. Mix well. Add Rice Krispies and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. May frost with melted chocolate chips.

This is a good summer time bar - you don't have to light the oven.
