4 c. diced apples
3 c. flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Mix apples with sugar; let stand 1 hour.

2. Mix flour, soda and spices.

3. Beat eggs, oil and vanilla; add to apple mix.

4. Combine flour mix with egg mix.

5. Stir in nuts and raisins.

6. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours. Makes lots and freeze for gifts.
