RAISIN RIPPLE HARVEST CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 c. peeled and chopped apples
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 lg. eggs
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and 3/4 cup sugar; add butter and rub in with fingers to make crumbs. Mix in apples and raisins.

Beat eggs well with milk; add to flour mixture and beat (makes a stiff batter). Spread batter in ring pan. Sprinkle top with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Best served warm.
