HARVEST LOAF CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (opt.)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. canned cooked pumpkin
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x5" loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter well, gradually adding sugar. Blend in eggs and cream well. At low speed, alternately add dry ingredients and pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Turn into loaf pan. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes.
