SQUASH PICKLES 
8 c. squash, sliced
2 c. sliced onion rings
3 bell peppers, sliced
Salt
2 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. mustard seed
2 tsp. celery seed

Put squash, onion and bell pepper in bowl, sprinkle with salt, set aside for 1 hour. Bring to a boil the vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed. Add vegetables and bring to second boil. Pack in jars while hot.
