MACARONI GERMAN STYLE 
1 pkg. macaroni
3 slices bacon, cut in sm. pieces
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 onion, cut fine
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Fry bacon until brown. Remove bacon and add butter to drippings. Mix sugar with flour. Add water and vinegar. Combine with drippings. Cook until it thickens. Pour over boiled macaroni. Add bacon and onions. Season to taste. Serve warm.
