HOT CHIPPED BEEF DIP 
8 oz. cream cheese
1 pkg. chipped beef, chopped
2 tbsp. onions, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix ingredients, except nuts. Top with nuts which have been sauteed in 2 tablespoons butter. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve as dip with Triscuits.

This recipe is a keeper. It's been around for decades and never gets old.
You can buy a loaf of bakery bread, either round or oblong and hollow it out. Put the dip in the bread, top with pecans and bake as directed. Bread isn't necessary but it makes a nice presentation. Any way you do it, it's so good. Leftovers taste good cold as a spread on crackers.
