HOT AND SPICY BAGEL CHIPS 
3 unsliced plain bagels
1/2 c. butter
3 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Heat oven to 250 degrees. Slice bagels into 1/8 to 1/4 inch coin-shaped slices. Place butter in 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Heat in oven until melted. Remove from oven, add spices, blend well. Add bagel chips, toss to coat. Spread in single layer. Bake at 250 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until crisp. Stirring once. Cool completely, store in air tight container. Yields: 3 3/4 cups.
