SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
6 lg. eggs, separated
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sour cream; mix thoroughly. Add flavorings. Mix in 1 cup flour.

Beat egg whites until they hold peak; fold into sour cream mixture. Add remaining dry ingredients. Bake in large tube pan (greased and floured) for 1-1 1/2 hours in preheated 300 degree oven.
