SOUR CREAM NUT POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 3 c. sugar 6 eggs 3 c. flour 1 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 c. chopped walnuts Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Add flour alternating with sour cream beating well after each addition. Add soda and salt; beat well and add flavoring. Stir in nuts. Pour into tube pan that is well greased and floured. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. |
