SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1 c. butter 6 eggs 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 2 3/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream Powdered sugar (optional) Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix soda and vanilla with sour cream. Add alternately with the flour to the butter mixture. Mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 75 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 15 minutes then remove to a rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. 16 servings. |
