HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
7 c. milk
3 1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs until light, add sugar until thick. Then add the rest of the ingredients, except flavoring. Heat ingredients to 180 degrees in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Cool. Add flavoring. Freeze in a 5 quart ice cream freezer. Makes 1 gallon ice cream.
