TREASURE CHEST BARS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Maraschino cherries, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts or peanuts, chopped

FROSTING FOR BARS:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar for a smooth consistency

Cream sugar, brown sugar and butter together. Add vanilla, milk and eggs. Stir in flour, salt and baking powder; mix well. Add cherries, chocolate chips and walnuts or peanuts. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Grease bottom of pan.

FROSTING: Mix all ingredients together and spread on bars.
