PECAN PIE 
3 egg yolks
3/4 c. cane sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. maple syrup

Beat yolks until light yellow; slowly beat in sugar. Add syrup and melted butter. Mix all these ingredients into eggs. Pour in unbaked pie crust. Bake 40 minutes in 300 degree oven. After 40 minutes put pecan on top and turn oven to 350 degrees for 10 minutes to toast nuts.
