GINGER SNAPS 
2 c. sugar
1 c. (Sorghum) or molasses
1 c. lard
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cloves
Pinch of salt

Combine all ingredients. I use a little more flour. Make balls and roll in sugar and bake for 10 minutes in 350 degrees.
