RYE BOAT 
1 long loaf of rye bread

A round one will do. Cut 1 inch from crust around so you can make room in the "boat" for filling. Save the pieces you take out for dipping.

Fill boat with: 2 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. minced onion 2 tbsp. dill weed 2 tbsp. parsley flakes Chives 1 lg. jar chipped beef

I put the beef and onions in a blender, then mix with the other ingredients.
