STEAK CHICANO 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, sliced into bite-size pieces
1/4 c. flour
3 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. seasoning salt, preferably cajun
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lg. bell pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. can stewed tomatoes (28 oz.)
1 c. water

Mix flour, seasoning salt and pepper together in a paper bag. Shake steak pieces in bag to coat with flour.

Saute onions and peppers in a small amount of oil. Use remainder of oil to brown steak pieces. Place all ingredients together in a large stock pot and simmer for at least 2 hours. Serve over rice. Note: This recipe does very well in the crock pot.
