TEXAS CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine flour, salt and sugar in mixing bowl. Dissolve soda in sour cream. Bring butter, cocoa and hot water to a boil; let cool. Mix vanilla, eggs and cinnamon well. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into a greased 15 x 11-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F about 20 minutes.

Frosting:

1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk

Boil butter, milk and cocoa. Add to dry ingredients; put on warm cake.
