5 eggs
3 cups plain flour
3 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
6 oz. Sundrop soda

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Cream sugar, butter, and Crisco. Add flour, eggs, and beat until blended. Add flavoring and Sundrop and mix well.

Bake in tube pan at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

ICING:

2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 oz. Sundrop soda
2 tbsp. butter

Mix confectioners' sugar, Sundrop and melted butter and pour over cake after the cake is removed from the pan.
