FIRE AND ICE TOMATOES 
6 med. tomatoes, peeled & quartered
1 med. onion, sliced & made into rings
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
1 lg. cucumber, peeled & sliced
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. & 2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper or a couple drops of Tabasco

Bring to boil vinegar, water, sugar, celery salt, mustard seed, salt, pepper and red pepper. Boil 1 minute. Cool. Pour over veggies and refrigerate for 8 hours before serving.
