CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE 
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 eggs
1 can Comstock cherry pie filling
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix (2 layer size, Duncan Hines, Deluxe II Devil's Food, no pudding in the mix)

Mix almond flavoring into cherry pie filling. Beat eggs in large bowl; add cherry pie filling. Add cake mix and stir well with spoon. (Do not use mixer.) Do not add water called for on package of cake mix. Pour into greased and floured 9 1/2 x 11 or 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
5 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Bring sugar, butter and milk to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add vanilla. Pour over cake still in pan. Let stand until cool.
